VEKTR 2.7.4

The VEKTR® app is a free application available to all VEKTR® users. While anyone can download the app, access is restricted to those who have subscribed to the VEKTR® software. To use the app, users need to authenticate with a unique username, password, and custom VEKTR® site hostname. It is important to note that the app does not provide the full VEKTR® software experience. Instead, its purpose is to offer a convenient mobile solution for conducting inspections and work orders on-the-go.

One of the key advantages of the VEKTR® app is its offline functionality. Users can perform inspections and work orders without an internet connection. However, an internet connection is required to upload the data to the user's VEKTR® website.

Synchronization

The app allows users to synchronize their data with their VEKTR® website using various connection methods such as cellular, Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G. During synchronization, specific data such as inspection templates, work orders, groups, resources, and accounts are transferred from the website to the device. Conversely, completed inspections and work orders that are stored locally on the device are uploaded to the VEKTR® website.

Once synchronized, the data is immediately available on the website for business intelligence analysis, dashboards, and user review.

Inspections

The VEKTR® app is particularly useful for conducting inspections in facility management, school districts, franchises, and other industries that require regular audits, surveys, site visits, and compliance checks. By enabling electronic inspections instead of relying on paper-based processes, the app saves time, reduces costs, and improves accuracy.

Service Validation

In addition to inspections, the VEKTR® app includes a feature called Service Validation. This feature allows general contractors or employees to check-in and checkout when working at a building. The app captures the geolocation coordinates, time stamp, and a mandatory picture of the location. The VEKTR® web app offers a comprehensive list of items for business intelligence analysis.

Work Orders

The VEKTR® app also provides functionality for managing work orders. Users can receive notifications of work that needs to be performed, create new work orders, edit existing ones, add comments, attach pictures for documentation purposes, and close work orders upon completion.

SMS & Email Notifications

Once inspections and work orders are synchronized with the VEKTR® website, notifications of completion are automatically sent to relevant parties via SMS and email.
